Department of Energy Selects America’s First Clean Hydrogen Hubs
The Department of Energy (DOE) announced $7 billion to help create and establish seven Regional Clean Hydrogen Hubs across the US in order to help the implementation of commercial scale deployment of clean hydrogen. Hydrogen is a valuable source of energy as it can be produced with zero to near-zero carbon emissions. NGVAmerica Secures Fix to Correct Indiana’s Inequitable Taxation of Natural Gas Motor Fuel
NGVAmerica coordinated a multi-year advocacy effort – which included fuel retailers, fleets, utilities, Drive Clean Indiana – to correct this issue, engaging the support of Rep. Randy Frye (HD-67), an NGV champion. Rep. Frye helped grow a coalition of like-minded legislators who ushered the change into law in this year’s General Assembly session.
