Drive Clean Indiana is participating in the SiLVERS (St. Louis Vehicle Electrification Rides for Seniors) Working Group. This collaboration marks a pivotal moment in our journey to accelerate electric vehicle (EV) adoption and reduce transportation-related expenses for social service agencies in underserved communities.
Through this partnership, Drive Clean Indiana will be working closely with Forth, a leading organization in the EV field, to receive valuable technical assistance as we develop and implement a groundbreaking program aimed at promoting EV adoption within social service agencies. This initiative will leverage the earnings generated from the SiLVERS project to further our mission and expand the impact of sustainable transportation solutions.
The SiLVERS Project, based in St. Louis, is dedicated to increasing the adoption of electric vehicles while simultaneously decreasing transportation-related operating costs for social service agencies operating in low-income neighborhoods. This project exemplifies a commitment to delivering cutting-edge technology to historically underserved communities, aligning perfectly with our mission to reduce fossil fuel-powered trips and advance the sustainability goals of our city.
Our overarching objective within the SiLVERS Working Group is to collaboratively develop and submit project concepts that will extend the influence and reach of the SiLVERS initiative into other regions. By harnessing the power of electric vehicles, we aim to transform the way social service agencies operate, making their services more efficient, cost-effective, and environmentally friendly.
We are excited to embark on this journey with Forth and the SiLVERS Project, and we look forward to creating a more sustainable and equitable future for all.
Stay tuned for more updates as we work together to drive positive change through electrification and innovation.
