Join Drive Clean Indiana & the Northwestern Indiana Regional Planning Commission for a National Drive Electric Week Virtual Electric Vehicle Experience! Hear from electric vehicle owners –Â including NIRPC staff members – as they share their experiences and their plug-in hybrid and battery electric vehicles in our virtual vehicle showcase. Learn from Kevin Kirkham of NIPSCO about electric vehicle charging and incentives. Hear from area auto dealers including Glenn Green of BMW of Schererville and Garlan Garner of Tesla about the multiple benefits of electric vehicles and what options are available in the NIRPC region. Learn from Drive Clean Indiana how they are working with other Clean Cities coalitions to improve EV charging access to those living in apartments and condos through the Vehicle Charging Innovations for Multi-Unit Dwellings program.
