Drive Clean Indiana, Indiana’s only U.S. Department of Energy designated coalition, that is focused on clean transportation announce the Indiana Clean School Bus Consortium (ICSB) in collaboration with the Environmental Protection Agency’s Clean School Bus Program. The Clean School Bus Program, which was implemented under the Biden Administration’s Bipartisan Infrastructure Law of 2021, was put in place to “offer grants/rebates to replace existing school buses with clean models to reduce harmful emissions from older, dirtier buses”. The Clean School Bus Program will provide over $4 billion over the next four years to replace existing school buses with zero-emission and low-emission models.

In addition to several working groups, the Indiana Clean School Bus Consortium also gives stakeholders access to educational tools, resources, and subject matter experts to help support Indiana’s clean school bus fleet transition.
