This Webinar will provide an overview of how the Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality (CMAQ) program can help improve air quality around ports and other goods movement facilities. The CMAQ program is a U.S. Department of Transportation funding source for state and local governments that helps support transportation projects and programs aimed at reducing congestion and improving air quality. Presentations will address how the program works, including intermodal and diesel project examples, tips and lessons learned from activities in Chicago, the Port of Virginia and other areas throughout the country. The webinar also includes presentations on the EPA Ports Initiative and the Marine Highway Grant Program.
