Drive Clean Indiana member the Northern Indiana Commuter Transportation District (The South Shore Line) is advancing the Double Track NWI engineering plans to a 60% stage by June 2020. You are invited to participate in a Virtual Open House on Wednesday, June 10, 2020 from 6 pm to 8 pm.
The focus of the Virtual Open House is to share current project design information concerning parking, stations, and other details. A brief project update will be provided, followed by a discussion about each station within the project area, including Miller Station (Gary), Portage/Ogden Dunes Station, Dune Park Station, Beverly Shores Station, and 11th Street Station (Michigan City).
During the Virtual Open House, participants will be asked to email questions to the project team to be addressed as time allows during the session. Questions may also be submitted ahead of time to doubletracknwi@nictd.com or any time afterward. If you are in need of assistance for the Virtual Open House, please contact NICTD at least 5 days in advance at doubletracknwi@nictd.com.
