As you celebrate Earth Day, we hope you will include a visit to the nature center for an open-house style celebration of our wonderful planet! Earth Day and Arbor Day crafts are available until the end of April, various native bare-root seedlings and milkweed packets are available for free, while native trees and shrubs will be for sale in the greenhouse, and several fun hikes will be offered. While you are here, we hope you will enjoy our exhibits, which can provide ideas for making your yard more nature-friendly.
All programs are free and registration is not required.
9:00 am | Spring Wildflower Hike – Join a naturalist for a walk along the wooded trails to enjoy the beautiful spring blossoms in the park. These enchanting spring ephemerals are fleeting, so don’t miss out! The walks begin inside the nature center.
