DESCRIPTION:September 28\, 2024: EVs for EVVeryone 2024 \nLocal nonprofit Tri-State Creation Care is hosting its third annual EV cruise-in coupled with test drives and ride-alongs\, with this year’s name revised to EVs 4 EVVeryone. Sat.\, Sept. 28\, Noon-4pm CT\, at Evansville Day School\, 3400 N. Green River Rd.\, Evansville\, with title sponsor being D-Patrick. Free & open to the public (although a $10 donation is suggested for test drives or ride-alongs). \nAuto dealers will bring various new EVs for adult attendees to test drive. Plus EV owners will have their vehicles participating in the cruise-in portion\, including Vanderburgh County Sheriff Office’s new Tesla cruiser. And there will be e-bikes\, e-carts and battery-operated lawn & garden equipment to check out\, along with companies tabling for energy-efficient appliances. \nEntertainment for the whole family includes: robotics and paper-making demonstrations; interactive storytelling; live music & a DJ; vendors; food trucks; four $100 door prizes; local Celebrity Drivers (Calbert Cheaney\, Ange Humphrey\, Roger Kalia\, Phil Smith\, Daniela Vidal\, Greg Wathen\, Linda White\, Eric Xiao) to lead off the day’s test drives; kids’ activities; an inflatable 50′ obstacle course; butterfly ambassadors; nature crafts; and the nearby Master Gardeners Display Garden. \nJoin Tri-State Creation Care at EVs 4 EVVeryone\, as it promotes good stewardship of this Earth to ensure a sustainable and thriving planet for our children & grandchildren. \n  \nTo register and learn more visit the event webpage: National Drive Electric Week • EVs for EVV 2024 (National Drive Electric Week) • Evansville\, IN • Sep 28\, 2024 \n
