Hear from IDEM Senior Environmental Manager Shawn Seals about the grant program & from DCI Executive Director Carl Lisek about how DCI can maximize the success of your application.\n\n\n\nThe Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) and the Indiana Volkswagen Environmental Mitigation Trust Fund Committee (Committee) on March 23 formally announced Round 3 of the Indiana Volkswagen Environmental Mitigation Trust Program’s grant funding\, which will distribute awards ranging from $50\,000 to $2\,000\,000. Total available funding for this round is $12\,000\,000. \nGrant money will be awarded to clean air projects that significantly reduce diesel emissions across Indiana. Examples of projects funded in previous rounds include replacing diesel school buses with electric and propane buses\, diesel transit buses with electric transit buses\, diesel refuse haulers with compressed natural gas refuse haulers\, as well as a diesel switcher locomotive being replaced with an electric rail car mover. \nRequest for Proposals are due on or before June 1\, 2021.\nContact us at (219) 644-3690 today & let us help maximize the success of your application!\n
