In the U.S., the transportation sector is the largest source of greenhouse gas emissions and a leading source of health-harming pollution. The EPA’s Clean Heavy Duty Vehicle Grant Program and the U.S. DOT’s Charging and Fueling Infrastructure Discretionary Grant Program represent historic opportunities for state, regional, Tribal, school, and local government entities to reap the benefits of clean transportation.
