DESCRIPTION:August 31\, 2021\, 11 a.m.-12 p.m. Central – Northwestern Indiana Regional Planning Commission Micromobility Webinar \nToday\, our NW Indiana communities are being approached by companies looking to take advantage of the growing micromobility market with the introduction of pay-to-use scooters\, bicycles\, mopeds and other electric-generated devices. \nIn response to this rapidly developing technology\, NIRPC will be hosting a Webinar on Tuesday\, August 31 at 11 a.m. Central. This free\, one-hour session will provide an overview of micromobility\, current issues with their deployment and emerging policies by municipal agencies to deal with their presence. Drive Clean Indiana will also be participating in the presentation. \nAfter registering\, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting. \nThis webinar is limited to the FIRST 100 who register\, with priority given to NIRPC member municipalities in Lake\, Porter and LaPorte Counties.
